ELEVATION SCHOLARS PROGRAM

A 5 year commitment valued at $25,000 for selected juniors designed to support one to and through college in the form of one-on-one admissions and success coaching and customized  financial support through your college journey. Scholars provide the vision, we provide the path!

How It Works

Students are selected based on strong displays of service, kindness and discipline, as well as an expressed, innate desire to positively change the world through leadership.

  • Winners are chosen annually from our five partner schools
  • Winner are awarded a 5 year customized support packages averaging $20,000
  • Winner receive admissions assistance and ongoing staff support starting the end of their junior year of high school and continuing through their graduation from college

Eligibility:

When we select students, we select those with both high academic status and equally strong character displays of leadership, service, kindness and discipline, as well as an expressed innate desire to positively change the world. To be eligible, students must:

  • Be enrolled at a partner school (Evans High, Jones High, Colonial High, Oak Ridge High, Edgewater High, Wekiva High, Winter Springs High or Seminole High) and on track to graduate on time.
  • Demonstrate financial need- higher priority will be given to students with family incomes less than $80,000.
  •  A minimum 3.5 UW GPA either at the current school AND within TOP 10% of their class. 
  • A US Citizen or Immigrant eligible to receive public or private tuition assistance.
  • No criminal record and no school discipline infractions that are level 2 or higher for his/her entire high school career. Exceptions may be made for infractions early in student’s high school career with explanation by school staff.

Time Comittment:

Award Scholars commit to weekly one-on-one coaching sessions beginning at receipt of award and continuing until college decision day.
