The annual Awards Ceremony is our favorite night of the year! It was wonderful to gather with the entire Elevation family, while celebrating a decade of impact.
Ten years ago, the Elevation Scholars program began with one school. We now serve six.
We began with just one scholar. Today, we have served 132 students. We began by providing $65,000 in awards. Today, we have provided more than $3.3 million in awards that have helped prepare our Scholars for college admission and provide the wrap-around support they need to thrive while at school.
Additionally, 96 of our students have earned over $16 million in financial aid through Elevation’s support.
To our partners, volunteers, educators, parents and everyone it takes to invest in the success of our students, thank you!
During last week’s event, we celebrated three classes:
Class 5 | College graduates | Highlights: Graduates from a number of notable colleges and universities, including Wake Forest University, Morehouse College, Wesleyan University and Florida State University. |
Class 9 | High school seniors | Highlights: Includes first-time acceptances to Georgetown, Purdue University, University of Richmond, Columbia University, Vanderbilt, and MIT. Additionally, this cohort has already earned more than $3 million in financial aid and scholarships. |
Class 10 | High school juniors | Highlights: 18 new world changers who are excited to start the Elevation Scholars program! |
Thank you to every attendee and supporter. We invite you to watch a replay of the ceremony on YouTube.
We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming Scholars event, and congratulations Classes 5, 9, and 10!
